Our objective is to plan and control our activities in such a manner as to have the minimum effect on the well-being of anyone, either directly or indirectly employed, visitors, or members of the public. e.g. Our machinery is equipped with the latest safety interlocked guarding. This guarding will be maintained and operated to protect our employees during the drilling operation.
Adequate resources will be made available for the planning, provision and maintenance of safe working conditions and a safe system of work.
Employees will be consulted and instructed in any particular safety hazard relating to a specific site or task.
Health and Safety issues are regarded as responsibilities of great importance for all line managers when preparing for and executing drilling work. The correction of any breach of statutory provision on health and safety will and must have priority.
Should staff not take immediate action to meet the required standards, this will be taken seriously and will lead to disciplinary action, as stated within individual employment contracts.
Employees are encouraged to discuss any and all safety, health and welfare matters with their manager and seek further advice as they wish.
This Health and Safety Statement will be kept under review to ensure its continuing relevance to current statutory regulations.
Any icident resulting in risk or harm to any of our employees will lead to a review and, where applicable, updating of this policy.
