How long? 4 - 8 weeks depending on the number of quotes to be obtained.
We obtain heat pump quotes for you from quality suppliers.
We give you a fixed price borehole quote within 48 hours of your initial enquiry if you know the details of the boreholes required. How many?, How deep?.
We ask for a survey and usually make a site visit to check siting of boreholes and access.
We agree with you the dates for drilling/heat pump installation.
You make a down payment to fix drilling dates

How long? A typical domestic project will take 5 - 15 working days.
Transport drilling equipment to site and set up using heavy duty matting to protect lawns etc.
Perform electronic scans of borehole site to detect any utilities i.e. gas, electricity, water, etc.
Dig trial pit to double check for existing utilities.
Commence drilling borehole with MC405 or MC450P drill and temporary casing as necessary, using Tibban recycling equipment.
Ream out full depth borehole and withdraw drill string.
Insert 32mm or 40mm diameter loop, Pressure Test Loop.
Mix GeoPro "Select" grout and backfill hole using automated grout mixing unit, pump and tremie. The high thermal conductivity grout ensures efficient heat transfer to the loop and stabilises the borehole. Leave capped loop projecting 50-100cm above ground. Should the pipes be left for any length of time before connection to the heat pump, we would advise that for a small extra charge you ensure the cleanliness of your future system by asking us to add a biocide solution to the water in the pipes to prevent fungal/bacteriological contamination of your system.
Clean up site.
Additionally we can, for an agreed, fixed price:
You will be asked for the final payment upon completion.
We will, as a priority, adhere to our safety and environmental policies.
