INDUSTRY LEADING GUARANTEE

There are an increasing number of players in the renewable energy business, not all of them are looking at long term efficiency, reliability, or indeed, at the real benefits of renewable energy.

Synergy Boreholes and Systems Ltd. is very conscious of both the environment in which we operate and the successful long term growth of our business, which must be based on offering more to our clients.

We therefore have decided to give long term guarantees for our installations. Guarantees which are simply better than those given by other GSHP / Borehole system providers in the UK.

Synergy Boreholes and Systems Ltd. guarantees the function of the geothermal heat loops, connecting piping, electrofusion joints, manifolds, etc. for 10 years.

The Ground Source Heat Pump will be covered by the manufacturers guarantee (typically 2 years)

We buy our PE100, 16 bar tested,certificated geothermal loops and grouting material from reliable, proven British suppliers. They test the loops before delivery. We will pressure test the loops again before we sign off the job with you. We will supply you with a geothermal loop test certificate

The guarantees are valid under the following conditions.

1. We will only guarantee what we install. The guarantee applies only to the geothermal loop, piping, electrofusion joints, manifold, heat pump and heat distribution system as installed by Synergy Boreholes and Systems Ltd.
2. The standard guarantee from the Heat Pump manufacturer must be applied for by the client and given by the manufacturer, for the full term, without reservation. All necessary guarantee / maintenance documentation must be available. Repair receipts, invoices or other documentation from parties other than the Heat Pump manufacturer or Synergy Boreholes and Systems Ltd will not be accepted under this guarantee unless agreed in writing by Synergy Boreholes and Systems Ltd.
3. GSHP's must be maintained as installed by us, not relocated, or in any way operated or treated contrary to the manufacturers instructions. 
   
4. Our complete system installation, i.e. heat pump with boreholes, will be adequately dimensioned (in agreement with us, according to the operating information supplied by the end client, see also, GSHP operating temperatures) This dimensioning will not result in icing up of the geothermal loops or manifolds. Should this happen, we will drill and equip more boreholes to remove this problem without charge. This provision does not apply to boreholes drilled by us to depths/specifications supplied by other heat pump suppliers/installers or third parties.
   
5. All payments as quoted and invoiced for the complete job by Synergy Boreholes and Systems Ltd. have been made in full, before any guarantee claim is made.
6. The loop is in constant use and does not lie dormant for any period of more than 6 months.
7. The loop is not damaged by any external factor or surface disturbance, e.g. garden digging, plowing, other contractors, tree roots etc. where it is installed.
8. The loop is not damaged by any earth movement, slippage, subsidence or other geological factors.
9. The loop is at all times filled at the correct pressure, with the correct liquid medium, including the correct amount of antifreeze.
10. This guarantee covers only the replacement value of the loop and is capped at £1000 per borehole and £2500 in total for piping.

*Exclusions: The life of the circulation pumps within the heat pump is determined to a significant extent by the diligence and cleanliness of the plumber/engineer fitting the pipework circuits. There are two exterior circulation systems with pumps inside your heat pump, one for the borehole circulation, this is included in our guarantee because we install and test this subsystem. The other is for the heating system circulation i.e. underfloor heating or radiators. This secondary circulation pump within your heat pump is only included if we are responsible for fitting the complete heating system served by the heat pump.
