Water Boreholes : Storage / Buffer tanks

In addition to drilling your waterwell borehole, we also install water storage tanks. These can be above, or below ground, large (20-40000 gallons) or small.

Smaller tanks are made from polyethylene. Larger, above ground tanks are constructed from galvanised steel sections and fitted with a heavy duty liner.

The tanks can be equipped with powerful booster pumps to pressurise your house system or irrigation network up to 5 Bar.

A storage tank also gives several days or more of reserve in case the borehole eventually has to be serviced, needs cleaning, or for whatever reason, is out of action for a few days.

Tanks can be supplied for potable water or irrigation water, with or without covers.

Above ground tanks are mounted on a re-enforced concrete slab base. Underground tanks are encased in a concrete jacket to prevent high groundwater levels causing floatation.

Our apologies for the repeated use of the titles water boreholes and geothermal boreholes on these pages; such are the dictates of search engine requirements.

NEW

Synergy now offers a range of modular underground tanks suitable for the storage of farm, irrigation or grey water (not drinking water)

These tanks can be incrementally assembled to provide large underground storage capacities, i.e. up to 100 cubic metres and more.

The tanks have a fully accessible 315 mm dry weather channel running through them, making jetting and cleaning simple.
At 2220mm long with a 1200mm depth, capacity per module is 2280 litres.
The module’s shape and designed strength make it an uncompromising lightweight alternative to larger diameter tubular concrete tanks. They are designed to be installed in granular surround in the most difficult of ground conditions, such as high water tables and running sand.
In pedestrian and vehicle free areas the module can be installed at a minimum 300 cover offering a low profile storage option, ideal for rainwater harvesting installations.
With a simple connection, they can be installed quickly and effectively with the minimum of plant and labour, competing favourably with heavier pipe and plastic twin wall systems.
The modules simple effective sealing and dual connection system takes a huge amount of time and effort out of forming a guaranteed watertight seal while maintaining overall structural strength which is a major issue with corrugated steel pipe systems.
Because the module can be installed in granular surround it can be use in a temporary situation as long as there is no high water table. The modules can be secured in place, anchored down and then buried in granular material and then removed when the application is no longer required
With the module range we offer a choice of access/control chambers.
