For your own peace of mind and to guarantee the absolute safety of your water source we always recommend that you have the borehole water tested by our partner laboratory. This will also enable us to ensure that the filtration/purification equipment that we supply to you is ideally suited to your water supply.

This involves a significant cost (several hundred pounds). Should you not wish to incur this extra expense, we will supply you with our standard carbon granule/UV water treatment which will be perfectly adequate in 99% of all cases.

Our UKAS accredited laboratory can test for:-

• Total coliforms, E.coli, 2 & 3 day plate counts, Enterococci, Clostridium perfringens
  
• pH, Conductivity, Turbidity, Nitrate (TON-NO2), Nitrite, Ammonia, Total Hardness, Alkalinity, Odour (Qualitative)
• Taste (Qualitative), Chloride, Sulphate,
• Total Organic Carbon, Bromate, Fluoride, Cyanide (Total), Colour.
• Iron, Manganese, Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium, Aluminium, Arsenic, Cadmium, Chromium, Mercury, Antimony Selenium, Boron, Phosphorous, Lithium, Vanadium, Barium, Strontium, Arsenic, Silver, Cobolt, Copper, Lead, Nickel, Zinc
• Triazines/Urons, Acid Herbicides, OCPP Pesticides, BTEX (acronym that stands for Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Xylenes.) and VOC’s (Volatile organic compounds), 5 Regulatory PAH’s and Fluoranthene

In the unlikely event that one or more of the above contaminants is found to be present in excessive quantities, we will suggest suitable remedial filtration equipment to you.
