Royal Alexandra & Albert School

The school was converted to ground source heat pumps with over 2 MW capacity and to 18 buildings. This required 160 holes to 140m depth, and 44,800m of pipe in the boreholes. A further 11km of flow and return pipe was installed to link the buildings to the array. As a result of this scheme, the school saves 750,000 litres of oil per year.
